Connection With Nature

Every breath of our body is channeled through nature. Every being on the planet are dependent on each other. Water cycle, nitrogen cycle, metabolic process, food chain and food web gives scientific evidences of our interconnectedness.

In my personal experience I have spent a huge part of my life in my hometown which is nature’s abode. Lush green forests, beautiful trees, the blushing sunset sky, fresh cold water bodies, the song of cuckoos, pearls like dew on grass, free flowing wildflowers, wholesome millets, sun kissed clouds and a slow loving life.

When I moved to city for my higher studies life completely changed. It was very different from the serene, clam and peaceful life of my hometown. During the initial days I couldn’t sleep for days because of the constant traffic noise. The city never sleeps. It was tiring, hopeless and suffocating. The buildings were more like cages. cages for flightless humans. Soon I realized it is the green trees that used to peep from the window back in my hometown which I am missing here. Here mostly surrounding was filled with rage, hustle and speed. There things were relaxed, slow and calming.

I ted talk with trees, whisper to clouds, stare at the blank sky, dance with the wind, twirl with the falling leaves, sing with the birds and chase the dragonflies.
